Introducing Grasshoppers FC

We are excited to announce the official launch of Grasshoppers FC, a new and exciting club in Central Ohio serving elite youth soccer players and families!

Why Grasshoppers FC?

There has long been a gap in youth soccer where clubs don't devote adequate coaching resources to properly develop players at the younger age groups, primarily U7-U12.  Most often better and more experienced coaches are assigned to older teams, leaving less experienced and less knowledgeable coaches to guide the younger age groups.  The end result is that younger players don't develop the requisite skill set to compete at the highest level, which also affects their long term joy, potential, and success in the game.  We are a byproduct of wanting to fill that void so children are given the best chance of long-term success.

What We Offer:

• A coaching staff comprised entirely of coaches who played at very high level college soccer and beyond
• Unparalleled access to some of the best facilities in Columbus thru our partnership with Columbus Soccer Academy (CSA), and their 42-acre soccer complex in Delaware county to be completed in the fall of 2025 with both indoor and outdoor turf space
• Superior training programs designed for U7-U12 age groups specifically so that players can reach their full potential
• Opportunities to compete at the highest level of local leagues while also seeking out the best competition regionally and nationally to provide an adequate challenge for advanced players
• An exclusive academy training environment, where the players selected in each age group are identified as gifted and/or high potential.  Our programs are not for players who are not currently capable of competing at the highest level.  Consequently, we do not have second, or "B" teams in any age group, unlike nearly every other club
• A strong focus on technical skill development, 1v1 ability, and fearless risk taking in a team environment
• Non-profit status, as we are not a profit-seeking venture, but instead an alternative to that while providing a superior offering to other clubs in the community
• A true sense of community and giving back, from numerous coaches that volunteer their time, parents helping out at every step along the way, and community service projects for the players and club as a whole
